What is Tails of Iron?

This production is an action adventure game with RPG elements and a strong emphasis on combat. There are battles, preparations for them, studying the tactics and methods of fighting enemies, as well as equipping the protagonist, the young heir to the rat throne. And since there's a new chapter beginning in the centuries-old feud between rats and humans, there will be plenty of opportunity to fight.

In a soul-like fashion, we travel through the gloomy world of rodents, amphibians, and other vermin, face powerful creatures, all on the way to find our destiny – as the leader of the rat people.

What makes it worth it?

Tails of Iron in general is really a decent game. The plot, the gameplay model, the complexity of the combat system, and the setting are all solid. But they don't stand out. It's unique in other ways. First of all – there's the universe, reminiscent of Hollow Knight, using the secrets of the microworld and all its variations. Its darkness and dirt make up a kind of fairy tale for adults.

The authors paid great attention to details, trying to enchant the player with the land they have created, and although the creatures we guide and encounter cannot express themselves in a way familiar to us... We understand what they want to tell us, what they feel, what bothers them. On top of that, there's the fantastic narrator, a voice you might remember from playing a certain RPG as Geralt of Rivia.
