Table of Contents

  1. Country: India
  2. Directed by: S. S. Rajamouli
  3. Release date: 2017

Strength in unity! Everyone who plays a team sport knows that. The right combination of tactics, cooperation – and a touch of madness – can work wonders. The final battle in Baahubali 2 proves this rule. The heroes form an unbreakable union. On the fly. Literally. After they’re catapulted from… a palm tree?

What is Baahubali 2: The Conclusion

It is a continuation of an Indian costume drama that took place in ancient times. It tells the story of the eponymous Baahubali, who was found and raised by some people as a young orphan. In the previous part of the series, he had to face a powerful opponent. Events in the movie depict spectacular scenes of battles and sieges.

Is it worth watching the whole movie?

Judging by the positive reception of the audience and the success achieved (which will be discussed in a moment) – yes. This is Bollywood and a siege fairy tale. If we manage to swallow an exaggerated convention, we'll get a pretty colorful spectacle. And if we watch the film in a good mood with a group of friends, we probably can have a good laugh, too.

What about sales and money?

This absolute firecracker of a movie earned nearly a quarter billion dollars worldwide. With a budget of about $40 million – it was certainly a great success.
