The Power of Fire is a mod for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, created by Baradé.

Description:

The Power of Fire (German Die Macht des Feuers) is a Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne multiplayer RPG mod which allows up to six human players the share a co-op adventure in a fantasy world. It is realized by providing a custom .exe file which loads a custom MPQ archive. All participants need to download this .exe file and share the same MPQ archive. The map itself is relativly small like any other Warcraft III map.

Note:

If you play singleplayer please use as many savegames as possible and save the game as often as possible. If bugs occur you can still load your old savegame and continue playing! Besides report all bugs to me the author if possibile He is willing to fix everything but doesn’t have enough time for testing everything.

How to install:

Download the .exe file, start it and select your Warcraft III The Frozen Throne installation folder.

Install everything into the folder.

Either start the modification by the desktop link "The Power of Fire", the link in the Warcraft III The Frozen Throne folder or the file TPoF.exe in the same folder.

How to play:

For the singleplayer campaign go to "Custom Campaigns" and select "The Power of Fire 0.9" for the English campaign or "Die Macht des Feuers 0.9" for the German campaign.

DO NOT USE THE MENU "Singpleplayer" -> "Campaign". The map will start but you cannot change the map after the first chapter.

For the multiplayer just host a game and select the map "The Power of Fire" -> "en" -> "Arena" for example.
