Instructions:

Preparing:

1. You must have the To Heart 2 game yourself. This patch is NOT for pirating

the software and I urge you to purchase one if you can and support the

game makers. The game needs to be installed before you can use this patch.

2. Only use the patch ONCE in your installation. If you want to revert the files

to their original status or to patch it again, copy the files from the

BACKUP folder created back into your ToHeart2 folder.

3. Choose ONE of the following patches to use:

ToHeart2FullPatch.bat - Contains all translation and decensored images.

ToHeart2NoDecensorPatch.bat - Contains all translation but NO decensoring.

Patching:

4. Copy all the files from this 7zip archive into your ToHeart2 folder.

5. Depending on which version of windows you are using and where you installed

ToHeart2 you may need to run the bat files as administrator. The default

location usually requires administrator privileges. Right click on the

bat file of your choice and choose "Run As Admin". If you have installed it

in a user accessible place such as your Documents or Downloads folder you

should only need to click on the bat file of your choice.

Notes:

6. After patching the game you will not be able to use any old save games

unless they were at a branch point. The game will hang if you load any

saved games outside this point. You do not need to delete the sys.sav file

which will keep the unlocked portions intact.

7. The game effects speed will have changed after patching so you will need to

adjust them from "system settings->effect speed".

8. Videos may not play at all unless you disable overlay support and on some

versions of windows they will not play at all - this is a game issue and

not to do with the patch. Full screen also may not work depending on your

windows configuration.

9. When you start a new game you have the choice to put in your own name.

Although the game will say it's not supported in the English localization,

it does actually work. If you choose to input anything other than the

default name it is normal for there to be gaps in the voice acting where

the protagonist's name would be called.

10.It is normal to not be able to highlight dialogue in the backlog to listen

to it again, this was unable to be fixed during development. You may be able

to highlight text but it will be offset from the dialogue actually spoken.

11.It is normal for the occasional menu item to still be in Japanese. Some

were not able to be corrected.

12.This game can be run without Japanese locale after install but any Japanese

text in the interface will be mangled as a result.
