Age of the Ring is a mod for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth II – The Rise of the Witch-King, creatd by Age of the Ring Development Team.
Description:
The mod serves as an unofficial add-on. It is a powerful project that expands and reworks the game, adding elements from the Hobbit novels and all film adaptations of the brand. There are new heroes and additional units, existing factions are reworked and new ones are introduced.
The project improves all campaigns from the base game and the add-on, as well as adds a new one set in the time of the Fellowship of the Ring and the Two Towers. The strategic War of the Ring mode has also been heavily expanded and improved.
In addition, the gameplay mechanics have been expanded, adding more technologies, skills and options, and significantly improved graphics. Even such trifles as providing alternative costumes for the heroes have been taken care of.
Instructions:
The mod comes with an installer. Before installing it first make sure you have the game updated to fan patch 2.02 v.9.0.0.
