Cool Merchant - Less Grinding is a mod for Terraria, created by noxteryn.
Description:
This mod alleviates some of the grinding by having the Travelling Merchant sell some of the rarer items.
When the Travelling Merchant spawns, there is a 50% for him to be selling one ingredient of the Cell Phone or the Sandstorm in a Bottle, and, if the player has reached Hard Mode, there is a 50% for him to be selling one ingredient of the Ankh Shield.
So, to sum up, there is a 50% chance the Travelling Merchant will be carrying one of the following:
Magic Mirror
Ice Mirror
Depth Meter
Compass
Radar
Tally Counter
Metal Detector
Fisherman's Pocket Guide
Weather Radio
Sextant
Sandstorm in a Bottle
If Hard Mode has been activated, then there is a 50% chance he will also be carrying one of the following:
Cobalt Shield
Trifold Map
Fast Clock
Vitamins
Armor Polish
Blindfold
Nazar
Megaphone
Bezoar
Adhesive Bandage
