Update 1.5.3 can be installed over all previous versions of Born of Blood, including the version included in Sword of the Stars: Collector’s Edition. Some of the key features include:
AI Optimizations – Hiver turn processing much faster on low-end machines
Command point bonus in combat bug fixed – players were getting less ships than they should, but players with the same number of ships got the same bonus (very rare bug)
Players can now properly join multiplayer through command line for use with Xfire
Corrections and improvements to auto resolved combat, particularly for certain random encounters and a few overlooked weapons
