Play together with this splitscreen mod!
!!This is a very early mod!!
FEATURES
Allows you to play together with someone else.
INSTALLATION
Download the Mod and extract the archive
Install the required config (SplitScreenRequiredConfig_P.pak) in "Stray/Hk_project\Content\Paks\~mods"
Download the latest UnrealModLoader: UnrealModLoader_V2.2.0a.zip?
Extract it, doesn't matter where.
Navigate to Stray's Paks folder: "...\Stray\Hk_project\Content\Paks\".
Create a new folder called LogicMods (exactly like that).
Place the downloaded SplitScreenMod.pak into that LogicMods folder.
Launch UnrealModLoader.exe.
Launch Stray.
Enjoy.
HOW TO?
In the main menu, press F9 on your keyboard to add another player.
Please note that I haven't fully tested this as I don't have enough controllers.
I also haven't fully tested the whole game so I cannot say if you can finish it together or not.
LIMITATIONS
Only player 1 can see the HUD. So the others will need to play without the hud.
There are moments in the game where the other players are stuck when there is a transition of the level. You can fix this by going back to the main menu and continue the level again.
There is a possibility of visual glitches.
In summary, it seems that the game wasn't made for splitscreen :)
FAQ
Can I add more than 1 player?
Yes! But I do not know how the game will handle this.
How can I add more players?
By pressing F9 on your keyboard
I can't see anything when moving as player 1
This is known, I will try to look into this but I cannot promise you anything!
Fatal Error!
If you have pressed F9 outside the main menu, then there is a chance that it will crash the game.
IMPORTANT
THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS SO I CAN'T DO MUCH IF THE GAME DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE!
