Sid Meier's Civilization II - Eternal War - Game mod - Download

Eternal War is a savegame for Sid Meier’s Civilization II made by Lycerius. The player has spent ten years on a single playthrough, bringing the world of Civ2 to the year 3991. In this save, the world is hell on Earth, destroyed by a nuclear war that lasted more than 1,700 years, leading to the annihilation of 90% of humanity. Three nations are fighting for control of the remaining resources.

The situation in the save is a stalemate, but not hopeless. After Lycerius made it available, many players tried to break the stalemate and many succeeded, leading to victory. So this is an interesting challenge for veterans of the game and requires very careful planning, as the margins for error here are very small.
