Rome: Total War - TheSwanMod v.3 - Game mod - Download

TheSwanMod is a mod for Rome: Total War, created by TheSwan44.

Description (in author’s own words):

Welcome to TheSwanMod for RTW1, that taking the Vanilla gameplay and extend it by combining 3 main aspects:

1)Europa 270 map by Webbird,

2)RTW Units Addon Mod by Yiu_DJC,

3)My own tweaking and adding all-around.

Instructions:

Extract the files from TheSwanMod.rar to your game folder of RTW1, then when the files are there and you got a folder named "TheSawnMod" make sure that inside that folder you dont see another "TheSwanMod" folder inside, if you do simply name the outer TheSwanMod folder TheSwanMod1 and the inner folder get out to the main game folder and delete TheSwanMod1 folder(simply make sure that TheSwanMod folder that got the "Data" files will be out in the main folder)

now that you got the folder out in the game folder your halfway done, now make a shortcut of the game(of RomeTW.exe) and name it "TheSwanMod" now put it in your Desktop, now

right-click on that new shortcut, a box will pop up, click on Properties in this box, then click on Target and now add in a space and then the following text: -mod:TheSwanMod -show_err

it should look like this - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\RomeTW.exe" -mod:TheSwanMod -show_err

click ok, so now that shortcut you made will direct you to the mod folder(make sure that the mod folder that you extracted is on the game folder, like "bi" is there so TheSwanMod folder should be there too)
