Description:

Ran no Jidai is a total conversion for Rome: Total War, focused on civil war that bloodied Japan, soon after Onin War and the weakening of Ashikaga Shogunat.

The project has been running for several years, by different teamps and contributors. The main objectives were to create a game modification that depicts accurately one of most famous and longer civil war of History, recreating the unique atmosphere and gameplay of Shogun: Total War. This is a total conversion, where every aspect of the original game are modifed, alterated, transformed.

Installation Instructions:

Directory - C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\bi

1. The directory pathway name from the installer will appear, as above. Adjustments to the drive letter, program file pathway name, and file pathway name, ie. Activision or The Creative Assembly, may be required.

Target - "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:bi\shogun2 -show_err -nm -ne -enable_editor

Start - "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War"

2. The target and start lines from the shortcut will appear, as above. Adjustments to the drive letter, program file pathway name, and file pathway name, ie. Activision or The Creative Assembly, may be required.

3. Preferences, screen resolution etc, have been placed at default settings and adjustments will have to be made accordingly.

If the game encounters errors the 1st time you play, just restart the game, this sometimes happens the 1st time you try the game
