Stalingrad is a mod for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, created by Vladimir Vovstein.
Description:
This mission pack contain 10 playable levels with all scripts based in the battles on Stalingrad streets.
This addon is based on real historical events which took place during World War II battle for Stalingrad (Volgograd at present). A troop of 57th infantry division didn't leave the city settled by Germans. A few soldiers led by Gennady Lukovoi continued to deliver diversional strikes in the city and nearby villages which was very injurious to German military machine.
In a few months Gennady was captured by Germans. He was liberated in 1945 by Soviet troops, but charged with traitorship in 1947. He was executed by shooting on November, 12, 1947.
Instructions:
- Make backup of the originals files "cgamex86.dll, qagamex86.dll and uix86.dll", because they will be replaced.
- Unzip to your C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein folder replacing these files.
- Play using the shortcut and when the main menu appears, click in play button and after choose your favorite skill.
- If you have RTCW installed in another directory, you must to edit shortcut.
