Red Faction is a combination of the basic characteristics of the FPS genre with adventure games. We are moving up to 2100 on the planet Mars, where power is exercised by the Ultor Corporation. A rebellion breaks out. The miners rebel against the absolute rule of the Corporation. Their desire for revenge is motivated by the fact that the unidentified virus begins to decimate the ranks of workers.
