Description:

NFSMW Unlimiter is a script mod which fixes some issues and makes some improvements for added cars.

Features:

+ Fixes visibility, damage and crash issues for added cars.

+ Lets modders use custom "manufacturer" on frontend VLT node, for their car mods with new manufacturers. (Fully configurable via ini file.)

+ Fixes disappearing wheels issue.

+ Fixes secondary logo issue for cars without manufacturer logo.

+ Allows modders to add more than 10 cars in traffic patterns.

+ Expands memory pools.

+ Fixes flickering cars in crowded areas with rain

+ Fixes character names for non-career events.

+ Fixes missing objects for options and stuff in FNGs by cloning them.

+ Makes paint menu scroll properly when there are more than 80 colors in a category.

+ Adds new customization items to the menu. (Fully configurable via car-specific or general ini files.) (Parts should get added by modders.)

+ Lets modders add custom rim brands. (Fully configurable via ini file.)

+ Lets modders define custom destroyed bounty award messages for any cop car. (Fully configurable via ini file.)

+ Lets modders add up to 1000 names for random AI Opponents. (RACERNAME_000-999)

+ Lets modders define engine type for any car. (Piston, Castrol (use "castrol" cheat code) and Rotary.)

+ Lets modders force LOD A for any car. (Useful if the modded car doesn't have LOD parts.)

+ Lets modders allow random parts for AI opponents, for any car part slot.

+ Enables some BETA features if elaymm4's BETA Content Mod is installed.

+ Enables Backroom in My Cars menu. (Known issue: When you use Esc key to back out from Backroom, you won't be able to move between the options. Press Enter or Esc to get back and enter the menu again.)

+ Allows rims to have "LANGUAGEHASH" attribute.

+ Allows decal dummy parts to have "NUM_DECALS" attribute to declare the number of slots.

Installation:

! Before installation, make sure that you're using v1.3 speed.exe (5,75 MB (6.029.312 bytes)).

If not, just use Windows 10 Fix

Now you can install the Unlimiter. Just follow these steps:

1) Open the archive you downloaded and extract it anywhere.

2) Copy the contents of "Main Files" folder into your NFSMW Installation Folder.

3) Install the string and texture data for the new menu options using Binary: (Compatible with v2.2.0 and up)

1) Download and install the latest version of Binary: https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/1638

2) Run Binary as administrator.

3) Select User Mode. (Tap/click the icon on left.)

4) Select the "MenuStuff-Setup-Binary.end" from the dialog and tap/click OK.

5) Select your game installation directory.

6) Wait for it to get installed.

7) Confirm the save prompt.

8) Quit Binary.

4) Install the camera angle data for the new menu options using NFS-VltEd: (Compatible with v4.5 and up)

1) Download and install the latest version of NFS-VltEd:

2) Run NFS-VltEd as administrator.

3) When the main window appears, select File > Open from the menu bar.

4) A new dialog will appear. Choose your game installation directory.

5) Select File > Import > ModScript from menu bar, or press "Ctrl+I".

6) Select the "NewCameraAngles.nfsms" from the dialog and tap/click OK.

7) Mod script installation dialog will appear. Tap/click Install to install the mod.

8) Save the files by selecting File > Save from menu bar, or pressing "Ctrl+S".

9) Quit the tool.

5) (Optional) Edit the configuration files (NFSMWUnlimiterSettings.ini, \UnlimiterData\*.ini) as you like.

6) Run the game!

!IMPORTANT: Delete any instances of Mod Loader (d3d9.dll, modloader.ini, etc.). This script isn't compatible with Mod Loader. Having both ModLoader and Unlimiter WILL cause issues.

!IMPORTANT: If your game is installed in a restricted directory (For example: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted), you have 4 options to make Unlimiter work properly:

1) Run your game as administrator.

2) Move your whole game installation to somewhere unrestricted. (Like, E:\Games\NFSMW)

3) Take ownership of your game directory. (Check out: https://www.intowindows.com/add-take-ownership-to-right-click-menu-in-windows-10/ )

4) Copy the configuration (*.ini) files into the Virtual Store. (%LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted\scripts(\UnlimiterData))
