Enhanced edition and LAA edited exe is a mod for Mount & Blade, created by DarthMongolTheUnwise.
Description:
Many people complain about crashing on the mod. These files here, are Mount & Blades Enhanced edition installfile, and the EXE that has been edited to be Large Adress Aware.
What does that mean? it means, that the game can access more memory on your pc, increasing stability. This may, or may not work for you, but if you have a decent desktop pc, and over 2 gb of RAM, it might be just what you need.
Instructions:
. Just install the mod from installfile to anywhere, for me it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mount&Blade.
Once installation is done replace the Mount&blade.exe in the installation folder with the one provided in this download.
I can personally suggest atleast TRYING this. As it has increased the stability of my game really, really much.
But to note, it increases stability, not performance, so high amounts of lagging can be excpected in large battles.
Well, i hope this works for you, but i cannot ensure it, M&B is a dated game and might not work too well with newer systems so i wish you luck.
