Distant Horizons: A Level of Detail mod is a mod for Minecraft, created by Distant Horizon Team.
Description:
What does Distant Horizons do?
Simply put, it add simplified terrain past Minecraft's default view distance to improve performance and allow for longer draw distances.
Now you can finally enjoy that lookout tower you built on top of a mountain!
Thanks to the mod, the rendering range has been increased up to 1024 chunks. So the horizon of the virtual world is really far away. In the distance we can see entire bodies of water, distant structures and fragments of more biomes.
Instructions:
1. Install Minecraft Forge.
2.Put mod’s .jar file into „…AppData/Roaming/minecraft/mods”. If you have many mods to install then better do it one by one, to see which one doesn’t worki if problems appear.
