Men of War: Vietnam - DCG (Dynamic Campaign Generator) v.4.0 - Game mod - Download

DCG (Dynamic Campaign Generator) is a mod for Men of War: Vietnam, created by Jason1_. It allows you to create a string of skirmish missions bundled into campaign.

HOW TO INSTALL AND USE THE MOD:

IMPORTANT NOTE: This mod installs differently than other versions of DCG

1) Unzip the contents of the archive into the root Men of War Vietnam folder (the one with file called vietnam.exe).

2) NOTE: If you do not have the special edition, you MUST erase the file called Maps_VietnamSE.xml in the xml folder or you may experience problems.

3) Run Campaign.exe.

4) A settings window will appear with some long text boxes and buttons for selecting the folders where the missions and the saved games reside. Use these boxes and buttons to configure the folders.

5) Verify or alter the location of the Men of War: Vietnam game folder.

6) Verify or alter the location of the DCG mod folder which will be the same as above.

7) Select the corresponding save game folder for that mission (by default in Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\{yourloginname}\My Documents\My Games\mow vietnam\profiles\{yourprofilename}\save\{yoursavegamename}). Note that the name of the folder must be the same as the name used to save the game. Also note that the player's profile name is part of the folder path. If you have never saved a game before in Men of War, you need to use the "Make New Folder" button in the folder browser popup to make the {yoursavegamename} folder and remember that name for when you save the result of the battle in DCG later.

8) Click the "Extract All Maps" button and wait for a message box indicating that it has completed.

9) Close the settings window when done.
