The Squad Goes Quiet is a mod for Mass Effect: Andromeda, created by fuxsart.

Description (in author’s own words):

The mod removes shouts and the exertions (grunting) sounds of your character and squad mates

What the mod does?

1. Removes the exertions sounds (grunting) of your character during exploration when jumping up and landing with jet pack, lifting, climbing etc.

2. Completely removes shouts and the exertions sounds (grunting) of your squad mates during exploration and combat.

Why?

In some situations it sounds at least weird and inappropriate destroying the immersion of the game and distracting, and sometimes sounds suddenly too loud making wince. It's a bit annoying.

The mod does not make any changes into the banters of your squad mates while traveling on Nomad and their conversations and comments during exploration or combat.

There are versions for:

- female character

- male character

- squad mates (all in one)
