More Mercenaries for Hire is a mod for Knights of Honor II: Sovereign, created by VampiresZombiesLiches.
Description:
Do you need to hire a mercenary army to fight your rebels and your wars? Are you too busy to hire your own army? Then this mod is for you!
Changed the mercenary spawn chance to 100% and increased the mercenary capacity from 1-5 per realm and 3-10 per kingdom.
Instructions:
Dont forget to backup your files!
Where to install and how: Go to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Knights of Honor II\Defs\Fractions" and replace the "mercenary.def" file with my modified file. Or simply go to steam library and right click "Knights of Sovereign II", then click on "Properties", then click on "Local Files", then click on "Browse" and then look for the folder "Defs" that should take you to where the def files are. You must then navigate to the "Fractions" folder and replace the mod there. Every update may require you to reinstall the mod as this is a manual installation and the updates usually installs new files and replaces old ones with their patch changes. As long as the future updates do not touch the file "mercenary.def" you wont need to reinstall this mod every update.
