This is my mission addon for the game Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe.

THE BROADWAY'S DEFENSE

Installation instructions:

-> you will need my H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod installed first

-> unpack the "The Broadway's defense.zip" archive into your H&D Deluxe data folder (i.e.: C:\Program Files\Take2\Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe\data). The mission add-on is a file with *.add extension. Start the game, choose play add-on and select "The Broadway's defense" from the menu.

MISSION BRIEFING

BURMA, 1944. A Chindit unit converted a strip of land into a field airfield, that could be used to deliver supplies by transport planes. It was codenamed Broadway. Unfortunately, the Japanese are preparing an assault to retake it. They will probably begin with the artillery fire, so watch out. We need to hold the positions at any costs and repel the enemy attack. Our commando team is reduced to three men, due to the enemy air attack. We have a Vickers machine gun to our disposal. To NilsZ from H&D forums for providing info about creating destroyable models in 3ds max.The transport plane model and related texture were downloaded from www.cadnav.com,, except for the destroyable version which i made myself.<br>The sandbags model and related texture were downloaded from www.cadnav.com..<br>The Vickers machine gun model and related texture were downloaded from www.cadnav.com..<br>I also re-textured some already existed default H&D Deluxe objects (i.e. enemy uniforms).

IMPORTANT INFO

The mission begins with the Japanese artillery fire, so hold Your positions and wait when it finishes - otherwise Your commandos could be injured or even killed. The Japanese infantry attacks in few waves performing frontal assaults. Use the fixed Vickers machine gun on the incoming troops. You will have few seconds after the artillery fire is over to set Your defensive positions. Each wave of attackers starts after the "banzai shout
