Half-Life 2 - Darkness: Source v.1.6 - Game mod - Download

Darkness: Source is a mod for Half-Life 2, created by airuike. It’s a fast-paced, asymmetric team game where spiders and humans fight to destroy each other in order to survive. The first team to destroy all of the other team's players and spawns wins. Darkness is based on the Gloom Quake 2 mod.

1. Each team has 7 unique player classes that can be purchased with frags. Frags are earned by killing enemy players and spawns. Human classes are: Engineer (0), Grunt (0), Shock Trooper (1), Heavy Trooper (2), Commando (3), Exterminator (4) and Mech (5). Spider classes are: Breeder (0), Hatchling (0), Drone (1), Kamikazi (2), Stinger (3), Guardian (4) and Stalker (5).
2. Each team has a builder class that can spend a fixed number of team points to build spawns and support structures. Spiders can build Eggs, Healers, Spikers, Obstacles and Gassers. Humans can build Teleporters, Ammo Depots, Medipads, Explosive Mines, Detectors, Machine-gun Turrets and Missile Turrets.
3. Under normal conditions, wait time between death and respawn is minimal.
4. Explosions can damage everyone, including teammates and base structures. Caution is advised.
