Description:
The mod lowers the engine settings below what the minimum ones in the game menu offer. This allows you to get smooth gameplay even on weak PCs.
Functions: Disable shadows, reflection mip blur and lighting fog volumes to boost performance.
Installation:
Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V.
*Optional* Make a backup of your settings.xml file in there.
Download this mod's settings.xml and drop it in there.
If you didn't make a backup of your settings.xml and you want to revert just delete settings.xml and launch the game. A new file should be generated. Should be safe to use on both single player and online. Been running the game like this on my laptop for years.
