Improved Intelligent Camera is a mod for Driver: San Francisco, created by Olanov.

Description:

Improves the Intelligent Camera system by adding AI to the player vehicle in all sequences. What this means in practice is the AI will now attempt to course correct according to the situation when outside of player control, instead of simply going forward and doing nothing. While it may still lead to inopportune situations, it should be a net improvement overall.

Optionally, if you don't like the Crash Camera sequences which occur during missions, I'm providing an alternate version which simply disables those, with scripted sequences being the only exception.

Mod is technically compatible with other mods as long as they do not tamper with the provided .lua files (preload.lua excluded).

Isntructions:

1. Navigate to your Driver: San Francisco installation folder (with Driver.exe).

2. Make backup of "ScriptsLuaScripts", .fchunk file located inside "media" folder at the install directory.

3. Extract Common & media folder from the .zip to the install directory. Click "Yes" to replace all when asked.

4. If you wish to install the optional version, extract its contents to the previous directory after. Click "Yes" to replace all when asked.
