Customize Weapons, Vehicles and World Camera Position / FOV individually

INTRODUCTION

I was frustrated of having the feeling to hold a broomstick while blasting my shotgun. After waiting for months without playing, and still no FOV mod available, I decided to jump in and do it myself.

I spent dozen of hours trying to figure out how to update the actual weapon viewmodel fov in real-time. While it seems the RED engine has everything to tune it, it looks like the model coords are tied to the animation system, so I couldn't go further. I had to fallback to an another solution, tweak the player camera. I'll try to continue my investigations, but as of now, the mod is functional and I can finally continue my playthrough and respec to Shotgun Specialist!

EFFECTS

This mod let you customize Weapons, Vehicles and World FOV & Position individually. Weapons have an additional ADS Zoom Effect toggle and ADS Offset + / - setting. This mod is fully compatible with JB Third Person View Mod.

Weapons (Individually): Up, Down, Forth, Back, Left, Right, FOV + / -, ADS Offset + / -, Toggle ADS Zoom

Vehicles (Individually): Up, Down, Forth, Back, Left, Right, FOV + / -

World (Global): Up, Down, Forth, Back, Left, Right, FOV + / -

All users preference are saved within the db.sqlite3 file, which is automatically generated by Cyber Engine Tweaks. If you want to remove all your camera preferences, simply remove the file. Additionally you can use the "Reset Weapon" hotkey to reset one camera for one specific weapon.

INSTALLATION

This mod requires Cyber Engine Tweaks? & Redscript.

Cyber Engine Tweaks:

Download Cyber Engine Tweaks

Unzip the "plugins" folder and the "global.ini" "version.dll" files in "Cyberpunk 2077/bin/x64"

To maximize compatibility, make sure to disable any game overlays (Fraps, Afterburner, Discord etc...)

Launch the game

A window will appear prompting you to choose a keybind to open to Cyber Engine Tweaks overlay

Pick any key and save it. The console will open with that key from now on.

Download Redscript?

Unzip the "scc.exe" file in "Cyberpunk 2077/engine/tools" (if the folder doesn't exists, create it)

Unzip the "scripts.ini" file "Cyberpunk 2077/engine/config/base" (if the folder doesn't exists, create it)

Weapon FOV Mod:

Unzip the "Weapon FOV" folder in "Cyberpunk 2077/bin/x64/plugins/cyber_engine_tweaks/mods"

Unzip the "Weapon FOV.reds" file in "Cyberpunk 2077/r6/scripts"

Launch the game

Open the Cyber Engine Tweaks Console and click on the "Hotkeys" tab

Set the prefered hotkeys

Remember to save before closing the Console
