AMD's 3D Now! fix is a mod for Crysis, creatd by Suicide machine.
Description (in author’s own words):
This is a modified CrySystem.dll, where a few bytes responding to setting a flag for CPU's "3D Now!" compatibility have been "nop"-ed out.
It seems like Crytek just assumed every AMD CPU will forever have "3D Now!" instructions and well, they were wrong. Replacing dll in <game directory>\Bin32\ with this one, should result in the flag no longer being set and engine just using SSE / MMX code paths instead.
Installation:
Replace the dll <game directory>\Bin32 with the downloaded one.
