The mod transports the game into the fantasy reality known from the Warcraft series by Blizzard Entertainment studio. The project changes virtually all elements of the game. We get an altered map, new factions, characters, units, technologies and events. The gameplay mechanics have also been thoroughly reworked.

The authors' ambition is to recreate the world of Azeroth in all its glory, until the entire surface of the planet is completed and refined. The developers are focusing on the classic Warcraft storyline, which includes Warcraft 1-3 and parts of WoW.

It is worth mentioning that the project is an expansion of ideas from Warcraft: Guardians of Azeroth to Crusader Kings 2.

To install:

Extract the archive to the “mod” folder

The mods folder is located in the system documents, not in the game folder. Most often it will be:

C:\Users\<USER NAME>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod

If you don't have a "mod" folder there, then create one yourself

Then go to the folder with the mod and find the file Warcraft-Guardians-of-Azeroth-2.mod and copy it to "Crusader Kings III\Mod". So that you have two versions of this file - one in the "mod" folder and the other in the folder with the mod itself.

Then activate the mod in the launcher by creating a new playset containing this game

Sometimes you may have problems activating the mod if it does not support your version of the game. To work around this problem, open the file "Warcraft-Guardians-of-Azeroth-2.mod " in "...Crusader Kings III\mod" in Notepad and in the supported_version= section change the number to match your version.
