Description:
- Popular Granatball-gameplay in 5 game modes (23 maps)
- "Granate" means grenade in german and was the name of the first game of that kind
- own music and atmospheric sounds from Unreal Tournament
- Easy installation and deinstallation

- Known issue:
The game may cancel during the connecting process showing an error that the map could not be
transfered. If all players have the map then this is caused by C&C3. Changing the hosting player,
logging off and back in or restarting the game may help.
2. Installation
Please use the included installer.
If you do it manually, extract the mod to:
XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\"Username"\My documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods
Vista:
C:\Users\"Username"\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods
With automatic installation an entry is made under "software" for later deinstallation and a desktop short-cut and start menu will be created.
3. Description / help:
These 23 maps support 5 different team-based game modes of the popular Granatball gameplay.
Every player controls one single grenadier, good micromanagement will be rewarded. Cpu players can
be added. Those are probably no challenge for experienced players, for that you can handicap yourself.
Team Deathmatch:
Kill as much enemies as possible together with your team. Dead players respawn after some seconds.
Kill 10 enemies without dying to gain a level (additional armor). The team with the most points
after the time is up wins.
Capture the Flag:
Steal the enemy flag together with your team and carry it to your own flag. Stolen flags must be
returned by killing the flag carrier and collecting the flag afterwards. The flag-carrier moves slower
because of the weight of the flag. The team with the most points after the time is up wins.
Bombing Run:
Catch the yellow bomb together with your team and carry it into the enemy goal-area. The bomb-carrier
can't attack and drops the bomb when he is killed. Not picked-up bombs reset after 20s. The team
with the most points after the time is up wins.
Warfare:
In the game lobby one CPU ally per team must be set up (difficulty does not matter). Those are
necessary to control the teams' buildings. If those 2 CPUs are not set up, the game ends automatically.
Destroy the 3 enemy powernodes (disruption tower) with the help of your team for making the enemy
powercore vulnerable. The team which destroys the powercore first, wins. Damaged buildings are repaired
automatically by engis, destroyed buildings are rebuilt automatically, killed troops respawn automatically.
Destroy the other buildings to weaken the enemy team:
Crane - Destroyed buildings won't be rebuilt anymore (powernodes are never rebuilt)
Armory - Damaged buildings won't be repaired anymore (the powercore will never be repaired)
Barracks - Dead support troops won't respawn anymore (attackers and defenders)
Command post - The elite-grenadiers of the players attack slower
Nuke Rush:
Escort the nuke transporter together with your team into the enemy base. The transporter is indestructable
and follows the team which has the most players around it. The closer the transporter is to the enemy base,
the more points your team gets. Every team also owns a defensive field which can be turned on or off in
switch-areas. Once activated, the transporter can't pass this obstacle as long as it is controlled by
the enemy team. The team capable of escorting the transporter to the end of its path or having the most points
when the time is up wins.
4. worth knowing / tips
general:
-> Always keep moving, use hit'n'run
-> Use force fire (CTRL) to easier hit moving targets or to attack buildings from a greater distance
via splash damage
-> The grenade soldiers attack targets in front of them automatically while moving, use this to safe time
-> You can't kill yourself but allied players. So watch out
-> Use "agressive" to automatically attack buildings, "defensive" for automatic attack moves to enemies
in sight (standard: "hold position", attack without moving for maximum player control)
-> A draw, when the time is up, means that the game continues until someone makes a point
-> Kill multiple enemies in a gap of 6s to get honoured by the commentator (up to 8)
-> Kill many enemies without dying to get honoured by the commentator every 5 kills (up to 30)
-> Everyone hears the scripted sounds
-> The player who made a kill is flashing a short amount of time
-> Every killingspree level improves your grenade soldier in his attributes
Team Deathmatch:
-> Spawnkilling is mean but effective
Capture the Flag:
-> The flag-carrier becomes 15% slower
Bombing Run:
-> Own goals are possible, so pay attention
-> Not picked-up bombs will be reset after 20s
Warfare:
-> Buildings will be repaired when reaching 75% of the initial health
-> after reaching those 75% a timer will be activated and an engi will spawn after it expired. The time
depends on the distance of the building (balancing issue)
-> Attacking support troops attack buildings, which are attacked by the players, with higher priority.
Only in that way they attack the enemy powercore, normally they ignore it
-> Attack the guardian cannons while moving to be safe
-> Try to confuse the enemies with running around them and make them hit eachother that way
Nuke Rush:
-> You can only activate your own or deactivate the enemies defensive field
-> When controlled by your team the transporter can pass your own defensive field
of the mod:
-> It does not look like that, but the scripts of the map are very complex (~300) and branched
-> Many sounds are from Unreal Tournament 2004, while some are created by myself, like the one after making a kill
-> The music is cutted by me to fit into a loop. It is of the following games: Command and Conquer, Unreal Tournament,
Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Forsaken, Dungeon Keeper, Doom, Blastcorps, Wipeout, Sonic, F-Zero, Captain Future, Halo
and Extreme-G (some are remixes)
