Online play suport (Multiplayer Fix + Widescreen support) is a mod for Battlefield Vietnam created by Team Simple.
Opis:
It restores online functionality damaged by closure of GameSpy. This mod replaces orginal master server with a fan-run one,
Mod also adds widescreen support.
Instructions:
Extract the archive. You will get two folders with different versions of this mod – one for game patched do 1.2 and the other for 1.21. Pick the right one for you and copy the contents of that folder into game’s main folder
Important note:
Support for the anti-cheat software PunkBuster in BFV has been discontinued by Evenbalance. Most servers do not have it enabled anymore, as such it is recommended to move the contents of <path-to-game>/pb/ to a backup folder, to avoid any disconnects by its service.
