Unzip the contents of the archive to the directory that stores your Makefile, i.e.:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\18 WoS American Long Haul.
You'll probably have to make backups of files, so that they do not lose.
You can now start the game and load the save, so you will unlock access to all garages, you get some extra cash, and you will be immediately able to assign drivers (without having to carry the load for a particular company).
