Thorny Way - (Translated to English) is a mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Original version (In Russia only) was done by Nktk. The English translation was created by PsyWarVeteran.

Description (In autho’s own words):

In 2013, a year after the events of Call of Pripyat, a group of mercenaries led by Morgan fulfilled their task: finding documents in the "X8" laboratory about a project called "Revival", planned by scientists of the C-Consciousness group.

Going down to the laboratory, the main character finds documents there, but due to the intervention of an unknown person, he loses them. Mission failed. Because of this, he is forced to leave the ranks of the mercenaries.

Fast forward to 2015, our hero Dan is a free stalker now, living in an old barge at Zaton. He slowly earns his living without worrying about the life outside the Zone. But one day, a message from an unknown person is sent to his PDA with a request for him to visit substation workshop. How will this meeting turn out for our hero? You will find out in the Thorny Way modification.

Features:

I took a machine translation (Capt.Host) as base and hand translated and revised every single dialog, quest item and quest text. Includes Fix 1.1 and 1.2 final.

Instructions:

For STALKER: Call of Pripyat 1.6.02 (works with Steam version).

To install, simply copy "bin" and "gamedata" folders to the main CoP directory.

Tested with both Steam and retail versions of CoP.
