FlatOut Fan Update is a mod for FlatOut, created by Goose274.

Description:

QOL improvements including new cameras and new cars.

This package includes the files for ThirteenAG's widescreen hack to modernise the game. New camera angles for every car, and some classic car models from the FlatOut tech demo and the beta which are also usable by the Ai.

List of Changes and Fixes

Vehicles:

*Added Beetle, Toyota, BMW, and Skull

*Pepper is now front wheel drive like its real world counterpart

Cameras:

*Added two new hood cameras to ever car

*Added a cockpit camera to every car

*stiffened the dynamic sway of the chase cameras to more closely resemble FlatOut 2

Misc:

*Restored the beta loading screen as I though it looked pretty cool and less out of place than the final version

*Some Ai which previously drove vehicles that were doubled up on the grid may now drive the newly added cars for more variety

*New sound samples for the 4 and 6 cyclinder engines

*Removed LOD pop in, now props will always use their highest poly model when loaded

Extract the archive and copy the contents „Goose's Update” folder into game’s main directory.
