FF13 Rebalanced - True Enemies of Cocoon is a mod for Final Fantasy XIII, created by gladias9.
Description (in author’s own words):
Featuring enhanced difficulty along with an overhauled Crystarium making each role and character more distinct for a fresh experience.
DESCRIPTION:
Bringing tactical decision making back into the game.
Most enemies now feature higher stats (health, strength, magic, ATB rate)
No more mindless mashing. You must be ready to use items, techniques and switch paradigms regularly.
Groups of enemies are relentless and many boss fights will test your skills & preparation.
Build the characters the way YOU want
Commando: Magic nodes replaced with strength, now strength focused
Ravager: Strength nodes replaced with magic, now magic focused
Medic: Strength/magic nodes replaced with health, now health focused
The Crystarium has been overhauled to make these roles dedicated to specific purposes.
Want Lightning to be a powerhouse Commando? Make Hope a damage-sponging Medic? Maybe try something unconventional? The choice is yours.
Primary roles still exist as an option
Lightning: Commando
Snow: Sentinel
Hope: Medic
Sazh: Synergist
Fang: Commando
Vanille: Saboteur
Experimentation is rewarded but understand that each character still has an intended primary role.
These primary roles for each character have added bonuses like early ATB/Accessory/Role +1s in the Crystarium or increased stat boosts.
For example Sazh obtains Haste in the Synergist field a lot earlier than the original game. Commando Lightning also may have 5 ATB bars by Chapter 5.
INSTALL:
Drag and drop files to FINAL FANTASY XIII\white_data\sys
THere’s a solution ATB crashing for newcomers, if you already have 7 ATB bars then follow this simple fix..
In the archive you will find "ffxiiiimg.CT" also grab Cheat Engine.
Use the script on FF13 while running it, now you have two options.
?- Navigate to 'Enable -> Scripts -> Battle Scripts -> 6 ATB Bars', enable it.
or
?- Navigate 'Enable -> Pointers -> Party Pointers -> Slot 01 -> ATB Bars'
?- Open your character status page in-game. Under ATB Bars, subtract "10" from your original number (70-10=60).
Do once every play session when using problem character.
