Auron HD Re-texture 8K and 4K Catachrism is a mod for Final Fantasy X HD, created by Catachrism/C3Anderson.
Description (in author’s own words):
HD Auron textures in 8k and 4k.
This is my attempt to HD re-texture Auron.
Texture design and art direction came heavy from original texture and then blended with attempts to add the details seen in the FMV sequences in FFX. I tried to reproduce the FMV look as much as I could in the in-game engine with detailed skin, lips, and materials. There is one exception to this in which I added (some fan lighthearted service for long time fans of the series) if you can spot it.
Instructions:
To use you need to install ProjectX.
Unzip archive and copy the the texture files (not folder!) into the "...inject\textures" folder.
Example directory: E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY FFX&FFX-2 HD Remaster\UnX_Res\inject\textures
