Will Jujutsu Kaisen Be Available on Netflix? When Is It Coming Out?
Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular anime that can be watched on streaming. But can it be found on Netflix? And if so, since when?
Netflix is increasingly expanding its anime offerings, not only with its own productions, but also with those purchased under license, bringing popular titles to the platform, the availability of which is awaited by many viewers. Now another gem will be added to the streaming giant's library, it is Jujutsu Kaisen, which will be made available on May 1.
The anime, based on Gege Akutami's manga of the same name, tells the story of Yuji Itadori, who begins training as a jujutsu sorcerer, learning about the dark and brutal world of curses he has only just discovered. He learns of its existence after eating Ryomen Sukuna's cursed finger to save a classmate. However, in doing so, Itadori made his body available to this powerful and evil sorcerer, who now lives in his soul.
Jujutsu Kaisen depicts a dark fantasy world where curses, which are created from people's negative emotions, live alongside them and pose a threat to them. The only ones who can protect people from curses are jujutsu sorcerers, who with the help of cursed energy can fight them.
Two seasons of this anime have been made so far, and both will be available on Netflix. In addition to them, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie, a prequel to the series, will also be added to the library. It tells the story of Yuta Okkotsu and also features characters from the original, including, for example, fan favorite Gojo Satoru.
