The Game Awards Gala Takes Place Today

In a dozen or so hours, this year's edition of The Game Awards will start. Keanu Reeves, among others, will appear at the gala. On Steam, on this occasion, demos of many upcoming games were made available, including Graven and Little Nightmares 2.

The Game Awards gala will be held today The event will start at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT / 1 AM CEST. and will last about 2.5 hours. It will probably be the last big industry event this year, so our editors will prepare an extensive report for you.

During the gala, the best productions of the year will be awarded, but the most interesting element of The Game Awards will traditionally be materials from upcoming games. In total, at least twelve new games will be announced, including both high-budget AAA titles and smaller projects. Moreover, we can expect fresh materials from already announced titles.

We know that at The Game Awards we will see a Dragon Age 4 presentation and get to know another project from Disco Elysium creators. We also know that Josef Fares, a developer known from A Way Out, will appear on the show, so we're expecting something new from his next game (It Takes Two).

This year's The Game Awards will be honored by the performance of many famous actors. The organizers have just announced that Keanu Reeves will be among them. Earlier, the presence of Brie Larson and Tom Holland, who will probably show the first materials from the Uncharted movie, has been confirmed.

During the gala we will also be able to listen to many musical performances, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, which will play songs in the famous Abbey Road studio, Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, and Lyn Inaizumi, a singer known from the songs performed in Persona 5.

On the occasion of the gala, The Game Awards Festival was launched on Steam. It includes a number of attractive discounts and many demos of upcoming games. The event will last until December 14.
