Teardown Reviews; Total Mayhem

Full version of Teardown debuted on the market and collects positive reviews - both from industry media and the players.

We finally lived to see the full version of Teardown. After eighteen months spent in Early Access, the game by Tuxedo Labs received update 1.0 and thus left Early Access.

  1. The game is available only on PC and currently the developers have no plans to prepare a console version.
  2. Unlike many other games after leaving Early Access, the price of Teardown has not been increased and is still around $20.

Teardown warmly welcomed by reviewers

Developers can be pleased, because the first reviews are positive. On OpenCritic Teardown has an average rating of 83%, although it should be added that so far the game has received only three notes:

  1. PC Gamer - 90/100
  2. God is a Geek - 9/10
  3. Game Rant - 3.5/5

The most praise goes to the excellent destruction system. Reviewers emphasize that not only does it look great and provide great freedom, but a very enjoyable game has been built on its foundations.

Excellent reception on Steam

The game has also received a very good reception on Steam. Of the ratings given by players, as much as 96% praise Teardown, which Steam categorizes as "overwhelmingly positive" reception. Counting only the ratings from the last 30 days, as many as 97% of players praise the title.

The release of version 1.0 also resulted in an increased interest in the game. Yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day, the title was played on Steam by 3995 concurrent users, which is almost twice as many as on Wednesday. We are curious what activity result the game will achieve next weekend and if it will manage to beat the previous record (8339 players - set right after the release in Steam Early Access in October 2020).
