Pacific Drive is a survival game which can be a little bit mysterious, both in the case of setting and mechanics. The best example of this is Stable Anchor. When you find this item, for the first time, it can be puzzling for unexpected players, especially before the title explains the mechanic. It is radioactive, when you pick it up, you lose health points, and anomalies appear around you which can be even further dangerous. Let’s talk about this mysterious object.

Stable Anchor in Pacific Drive Explained

Stable Anchor is an important resource. There are various types of Anchors and they are the source of energy. Why would like to have this energy? Thanks to it you will be able to unlock Getaways through your map. These points of interest allow you to safely leave the Zone. Once you progress the game, you will be able to scan the area to look for them.

Usage of Anchors does not end on the Gateways, though. Energy is also necessary if you want to unlock some new technologies. So, it is a good idea to look for these mysterious items if you have a chance.

Once you pick up the Anchor, there is no return. You have to run to your car. Do you remember this strange machine which is on a passenger car? Yes, it is its moment to shine. Just put the Anchor in it, the item will disappear, and the car will take its energy.
