There is something calming about simulators that draws us in. They let us catch a glimpse of how something, usually unobtainable for us in normal circumstances, works or maybe lets us safely experiment with new solutions. Recently, Ranch Simulator left Early Access after almost 3 years. It’s a great opportunity to jump into boots… or wellingtons of a rancher. Fertilising crops and keeping your farm clean from animal faeces can be a chore, so why not make use of the latter to help with the first? The game has in its store composter, and here you will learn how to use it and what are its benefits.

Composter in Ranch Simulator

Ranch Sim lets you build your own ranch as well as farm crops and take care of animals. Plants need fertiliser to grow faster, and this is something that animals can provide in abundance. Not without proper preparation that is. To do that, you will need to invest in composter.

The composter has rather steep initial cost of $250, though it can supply with free fertiliser afterwards. It’s an investment that can quickly return, as the latter cost $100 and obviously runs out, so you would have to restock it from time to time.

To make use of the composter, all you have to do is hold it in your hands and interact with manure on the ground. That will fill it up and eventually, with time, the waste will be turned into fertiliser that you can use to speed up your plants’ growth. To use the compost that got created, interact with crops to fertilise them, or with fertiliser trailer to store it there for later.

This lets you kill two birds with one stone and allow you to not waste time on cleaning your farm from manure, and separately spend money on fertiliser.
