Metro: Last Light Coming Soon to Steam, Great News for Post-apo Fans

For fans of post-apo and survival horror games, we have quite a treat. Metro: Last Light - Complete Edition will soon be available for free on Steam.

Post-apo fans who have not yet had the opportunity to explore the Moscow metro will get a great opportunity to do so - the Complete edition of Metro: Last Light will be available from tomorrow for free on Steam. The start time of the giveaway is unknown. The offer will be valid until May 25 this year..

The Complete Edition includes:

Metro: Last Light vs. Redux version

Recall that the game received high marks around its debut (average on Metacritic for the PC version is 82/100) and sold very well - so much so that a year later a refreshed edition was released, called Redux, which introduced numerous visual improvements mainly with 8th-gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One) in mind.

Withdrawal of the game from Steam

The giveaway will take place in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the release of Metro: Last Light - the game was released on May 14, 2013. Interestingly, the original was pulled from Steam in 2014 to make "room" for the Redux version. The information is all the more interesting because Redux has more than once has been distributed for free. Will the developers, under the banner of "giveaways," actually bring back the original version for digital sale? We will find out tomorrow.

Metro: Last Light - essential information

Metro: Last Light is a survival horror action FPS. The plot continues the story from Metro 2033 - we once again play as Artyom, who must save the inhabitants of the Moscow Metro (the greatest refuge in the era of nuclear destruction) from a horde of mutated monsters. The game has an interesting storyline, a dense atmosphere, pleasant combat mechanics and - despite its age - nice visuals.
