As announced in December, the devs of the online shooter Hell Let Loose shared more detailed plans for the development of the title in 2024.

Future plans

The upcoming updates are presented in the form of a roadmap (see screenshot below). Among them are:

  1. a game mode called Skirmish - a faster and simpler mode in the form of 50 versus 50, aimed at new players and people with less free time;
  2. Mortain map;
  3. updates to Practice Range mode;
  4. console server browser;
  5. system of variable weather conditions;
  6. british tanks: Churchill MK VII, Crusader MK III, M3 "Honey;"
  7. refreshed versions of existing maps with day and night variants;
  8. changes in British forces;
  9. new, not yet announced map;
  10. refresh winter uniforms;
  11. free and paid DLC.

In addition, standard bug fixes and quality-of-life changes. The devs also note that this isn't the full list of content planned for this year.

Players' reactions

Most fans were satisfied with the announcement. The console community is especially pleased, as it was greatly affected by the absence of a console server browser. The news of the British forces being rework, which many players believe is much needed, was well received. Some players also parise the fact that the plans appear to be realistic and feasible within the specified period. However, there were also other, less numerous opinions, according to which the announcement is disappointing and too modest.

Hell Let Loose is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The Deluxe version of the game is currently on sale on Steam and the Playstation Store and can be purchased for $35.74. The title is also available in Game Pass.
