City Builder From Grim Dawn Devs Gets First Trailer

Farthest Frontier, a city builder from the creators of Grim Dawn, received its first trailer. The developers are preparing a game perfect for fans of Banished.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Crate Entertainment has unveiled a trailer for its new production;
  • Farthest Frontier is an economic strategy game similar to Banished;
  • The game will debut in early access this year.

Fans of games like Banished or Life is Feudal: Forest Village can look forward to another interesting title soon. We are talking about Farthest Frontier, the new game by Crate Entertainment.

The developers are also responsible for the well-received hack'n'slash Grim Dawn. Now they decided to face another genre and offer the players an economic strategy game set in the Middle Ages.

You can see the effects of their work in the gameplay trailer published yesterday.

Your own village on the edge of the world

Farthest Frontier is a game that will put before players the task of managing a settlement on the borders of the known world. Like in other titles of this type, we will direct the development of the settlement from a nowheresville to a bustling city.

During the game we'll be mining various resources, managing crops and expanding the settlement. We will develop it on randomly generated maps, filled with various surprises.

Numerous threats will also await our settlers. Just to mention that the game will feature both dangerous invaders and diseases, which often decimate the population of the developing city. Crops will be affected by the unpredictable weather.

We'll be able to see how the game looks in reality soon. Later this year Farthest Frontier will debut in early access on Steam.
