Players take the role of a young thief, who, together with a company of other heroes, faces the evil queen Brahna, who is responsible for the outbreak of a great war.

The story takes place 500 years after the events of the previous game, and its main hero is a 23 years old knight, Fidel Camus, who tries to protect his home village Stahr.
