The action of Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians is set in a fantastical world torn by wars. The campaign tells us the story of the 70-year-long war, the direction of which has been set by the long forgotten warriors. The player assumes the role of one of those warriors.

Compared to the 8-bit prototype, graphics have been improved and the gameplay has been enriched with several new elements.

After a few games featuring slightly cyberpunkish settings, Final Fantasy IX returns to the roots of the series, where we are once again met by knights, princesses, and dragons. Players take the role of a young thief, who, together with a company of other heroes, faces the evil queen Brahna, who is responsible for the outbreak of a great war.

Ys Chronicles 1 takes us to a magical fantasy world, which we traverse as a young swordsman Adol Christin. He will be the one to save country of Esteria from an invasion of demons, and he must find six holy tomes to defeat the evil.

Digital reissue of the sixth part of the cult cycle Final Fantasy, originally published in 1994 on the SNES console. The plot of the game focuses on the conflict between the conquering Empire and the rebel faction of rebels who describe themselves as Returners. The title offers the largest number of playable heroes in the history of the series (14 in total) and, in addition to the typical features of fantasy, it also introduces elements of the steampunk trend for the first time.

The player assumes the role of a character they create themselves at the beginning of the game; afterwards, the player leads them to battle in the story campaign, as well as in both PvE and PvP multiplayer variants. Zenless Zone Zero is another action PRG from HoYoverse studio (formerly known as MiHoYo). This time the developers take us to the postapocalyptic world and a huge metropolis, which thrives on the substance extracted from the monsters.

A spin-off game from the popular Dragon Quest series, developed by a subsidiary studio of the Square Enix company as fantasy jRPG with sandbox features. It takes place in the land of Alefgard, which has been the arena of a great conflict between humans and monsters. Eventually, humans suffer defeat, after their legendary hero falls into enemy trap, and their only hope for rebuilding the civilization is a young hero with astounding skills of creation, controlled by the player.
