Assassin's Creed: Red is the thirteenth main game in Ubisoft's bestselling series, launched in 2007. At the same time, it is another installment of it set in a vast open world. The action of this title is set - as expected by fans of the series - in feudal Japan, i.e. in the years 1600-1868 (i.e. the Edo period). The character, which players play, is a shinobi (a kind of ninja) belonging to the brotherhood of the title assassins.
It was developed by Ubisoft Quebec studio, a team that previously developed Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, among others. It was led by Jonathan Dumont, while the game's formula is "an evolution of Ubisoft's concept of creating open worlds." What follows is no shortage of areas to explore in Assassin's Creed: Red. While traversing them, we will encounter many characters known from Japanese history, as well as references to the culture and mythology of Japan.
