In Animal Well, you play as a blob exploring a sprawling labyrinth teeming with strange and wonderful creatures, like Kangaroo, Ghost Dog, or Chinchilla. The game is full of tough to solve puzzles and hidden challenges, demanding sharp thinking and perseverance to unravel its deepest secrets. One thing that really bothers players is what could possibly be in the chest within the Skull Room? Read on if you want to find out.

Animal Well – What’s in the Chest in the Skull Room?

In Animal Well, you can find a room full of skulls. And not just anyone’s, but yours truly. Each and every time you die in the game, another skull is added to the room’s collection. But the gruesome chamber holds more than just morbid decoration. A strange wall covered in faces (connected to another puzzle) further amplifies the unsettling feeling. Finally, a mysterious chest sits tucked away in one corner.

As you could already guessed, the only way to get to the chest is to have a deathless run, so the passage won’t be blocked with your skull. But if you want to know what secret does the chest hold, here’s the answer: a Souvenir Cup, a figurine for the House, which is just a cosmetic item.

The chest in the upper left corner contains an upgraded B.wand. To reach it, you'll need to die multiple times to create skull steps that you can climb on. As a result, it's not possible to open both chests in a single run. So, if you want to discover every secret, and gather all the items and cosmetic stuff, prepare yourself for another round in Animal Well.
