In Gray Zone Warfare, you'll forge your path by aligning with one of factions, each with their own goals. Completing quests earns you reputation points. These points aren't just bragging rights - they unlock access to valuable vendors who offer increasingly better gear as your reputation grows. In this guide, we will tackle a common question: are "The Value of Sharing" and "Line in the Sand" the same quest and which one choose?

Line in The Sand or The Value of Sharing Tasks in Gray Zone Warfare (GZW)

Turncoat and Gunny will give you a similar task, but you can only pick one. Choose wisely based on which vendor's reputation and potential rewards are more valuable to you at that point in the game. Consider what kind of gear you need most. If you're struggling with firepower, Gunny might be a good choice. If you're interested in advanced tech or gadgets, Turncoat might be more appealing.

Once you’ve decided, head to coordinates 205,137 in Ban Pa town. For a stealthier approach, land in India 1 and take a short hike through the woods to get there. To locate all nearby Landing Zones in GZW, check out our Gray Zone Warfare interactive map.

Search for a wooden shack near the Warehouse, next to the well. Go underneath the shack and pick up a suspicious box located in the corner (it takes a 2x2 slot in your inventory).

After acquiring the box, you can:

  1. Return it to Turncoat to finish "The Value of Sharing".
  2. Dispose of it on the Northern Pier (coords: 206, 137), to gain some rep points with Gunny and complete "Line in The Sand" task.
