PlayStation Vita is the second portable console from Sony (a successor to PlayStation Portable), counted as the 8th generation gaming platform. It was released on February 22nd, 2012 in North America and Europe at the same time. Despite the technological advancement of games released for PS Vita (possibly thanks to 4-core ARM CPU) and many multimedia features, it didn’t manage to repeat the success of PSP.

A humorous, three-dimensional rail shooter by Inti Creates studio and a sequel to 2011 Gal*Gun, a game designed for motion game controllers. We play as an ordinary Japanese high-school student named Hodai, whose life has turned upside-down after he is shot with an arrow by mischievous angel Kurona. This results in every female trying to hit on him in more than aggressive way, after as little as a single glance.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

The follow-up to a hit action game from 2012. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a production of an independent studio Dennaton Games, the developer duo of Jonathan “Cactus” Söderström and Dennis Wedin. The player controls a bandit, who, provided there is a payoff, undertakes a number of risky jobs. Depending on the mission conditions, the hero can be either forced to avoid a direct confrontation, or brutally eliminate all enemies.
Helldivers

Helldivers is an arcade cooperative science fiction shooter developed by Arrowhead, creators of the humorous action RPG Magicka. The game takes place in a distant future where players take the roles of the members of the elite Helldivers unit whose job is to protect the politically divided planet known as Super Earth. It was attacked by three alien races. Players have to finish procedurally generated missions in order to save mankind.

A cyberpunk top-down shooter with roguelike elements, developed by 10tons - the creators of Crimsonland. The story of Neon Chrome takes place in the near future. The players assume the role of an augmented mercenary whose task is to kill the Overseer of a grand skyscraper that belongs to one of the world's most powerful corporations. Gameplay-wise, the developers drew inspiration from oldschool shooters. Our task boils down to eliminating subsequent hordes of enemies with all kinds of firearms.

An old school platform shooter developed by independent South African studio Free Lives. The game employs a parodic style to resurrect the legend of classic side-scrolling arcade shooters and the cult of movie tough guys from eighties and nineties. Playing as such icons like John Rambo, Texas Ranger, John McClane, B.A. Barracus, Robocop, or Conan, the player moves through levels filled with typical evil mooks and villains.
Shakedown Hawaii

An old-school open-world action game and a sequel to Retro City Rampage developed by Vblank Entertainment. The action of Shakedown Hawaii takes place 30 years after the events presented in its predecessor. The protagonist has grown really old and got himself a large belly. Dramatic events forced him to take up arms once again and to rebuild his crime empire.

In addition to solo mode, there is also a multiplayer available. Thanks to it, we can cooperate with our friends both online and via split-screen.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Declassified was developed by nStigate Games with the publishing support from Activision. The main campaign in the game consists of a series of loosely plot-related missions in which the player has the opportunity to take part in dangerous operations of secret services.
Killzone Mercenary

The title was produced by Guerrilla Cambridge studio with the technical capabilities of PlayStation Vita in mind. The player plays the role of a mercenary, and his task is to perform paid missions, which usually require the elimination of a large number of opponents.
Bullet Girls 2

A sequel to the third-person perspective action game, called Bullet Girls, that was released in 2014. In the original game the players controlled scantily clad female warriors who represented two military schools. This time Aya Hinomoto, the heroine of the original game, must lead her colleagues from the Ranger Club in a war between schools, against the Elda Private Institute. Gameplay mechanics of Bullet Girls 2 are almost same as in the predecessor.

Playing with Riddled Corpses is about traversing the location and eliminating everything that stands in our way. The game was kept in a retro style, evoking associations with productions from the eight and sixteen bits epoch.

The plot of Nuclear Throne was inspired by science-fiction movies from the 60s and 70s and tells a story of mutants fighting to seize control over a post-nuclear wasteland. In the game, we assume the role of a mutant of selected race and traverse irradiated locations, eliminating waves of incoming enemies.

During the game the player cannot move freely, being tied to a single firing position. Eight types of enemies can be found in the game; they differ from each other in terms of speed, toughness, and tactic, and becoming increasingly stronger with each wave.

They train to become soldiers and participate in missions on actual battlefield. During the game player completes various missions during which he must fight by using various guns. While playing, one can find items that make the game easier and meet other girls that can join the team.

In the game, the player assumes the role of a gunman who offers his services to an unorthodox local mayor candidate, the anthropomorphic bunny BunnyLord. The player is tasked with creating a team of tough guys who will clear the city of criminals, one district at a time. During the missions the player assumes the role of various members of the team and completes various tasks received from the BunnyLord.

Regrettably, the main hero – as every fish – has a problem with long-term memory, and remembers only last ten seconds.

In the game we play the members of the rebel organisation Arcturus, who are trying to put an end to the world dominance of the powerful energy corporation Prometheus. The gameplay allows full freedom of movement and unlimited exploration of maps and comes down to the elimination of hostile enemies (in the air and on the ground) and the fight against demanding bosses.
